A document or materials in which a person expresses the beliefs and experiences that have mattered most in his or her life. An ethical will has no legal significance; it is intended to convey the maker’s core values to loved ones. Unlike a legal will, which specifies the disposition of wealth and material possessions, an ethical will provide a way to impart one’s values, morals and beliefs to those they care about.
