Can I leave a child out of my Will?

Yes.  In Mississippi you are not required to leave assets to children. It is best to mention the child you want to disinherit and instead leave them a small amount of money like $100.00 or even $1.00 to clearly show your intent and that leaving them out was not a mistake.

You generally cannot disinherit your spouse in Mississippi.
