Trust For Animals in Mississippi

In Mississippi, you can create a trust for an animal. The animal must be alive.

The trust terminates when the animal dies.

If the Trustee is not performing the duties required to care for such animal, a person with interest may petition the chancery court to remove the trustee and appoint another.

Property in the trust above that required for the purpose of caring for the animal, is returned to the creator of the trust, or if the creator is not living, to the successors in interest.
