Can a 17 year old make a Will in Mississippi?

I live in Mississippi. I am 17 and graduated high school early. I work full time and live with my parents. My Grandfather left me some money when you died that my parents have in an account for me. I want to leave my money to my girlfriend.

The law in Mississippi provides that you must be 18 to make a Will. However, if you are emancipated you may make a Will at any age. You may consider filing for emancipation since you have a job or just wait until you are 18.
