Executor and Administrator may continue business

An executor or administrator may be authorized by the court, if not inconsistent with the terms of the Will, to operate as a going concern the business of the deceased that is a mercantile or similar business. Stock and goods cannot be sold for less than cost. In operation of the business may be replenished and promoted (advertises).

The court or even the clerk can authorize the sale of perishable property of the estate even if not for payment of debts.
