Who pays estate taxes if I don’t specify that in my Will?

If I make a will in Mississippi and do not specify that the estate pays for all the inheritance taxes?

If there are estate taxes owed the estate would generally be responsible for them and the property of the estate would be taken in a specific order for paying the taxes with personal property being taken ahead of real property. If property that is left to a person is needed to pay estate taxes they lose that property unless the Will provides for some other results. General bequests are taken before specific bequests for tax liability.
